500 ton French Sailing Vessel – (LARN) – Chesil Cove. Note: Very similar to MERCURE ? Seventeen of the crew were drowned and were buried in one mass grave by the main east gate of St George’s churchyard. This reference appears to have come from Dor. Mag: 1976 No. 50 p18.
