Sailing Vessel – (LARN) – Portland. “wine laden was boarded and her cables cut, so that she drove ashore on the island where the wine was carried off by the transgressors.” The ref. is noted as (Warren: p52).

1306 wreck of English cargo vessel which stranded en route from Bordeaux to London, and which was broken up by local people to plunder her goods, despite the fact that there were several survivors, including two dogs.
