Liverpool Steam Vessel. She was dragged from her mooring in Portland Harbour by gale force winds. The northern breakwater was still under construction and she slid over it into deeper water. She ended up on Preston Beach and later, after six weeks, re-floated. (Picture in LePard: p23 & Attwooll: p54) NIL See Times & damage to four other vesels.
