Swedish Brig – (LARN) – Cargo IRON, Oil, Coal tar & Wood. Chesil Beach, near Burton Bradstock. Three crew saved and four lost. A steward from the wreck thought to be about 20 years of age, named Olaf Bjorkholm of Stockholm, was buried from the wreck on 24/11/1837 in Burton Bradstock churchyard. ‘The vessel was run foul of by a brig which left her bulwarks smashed in, masts carried away, waterlogged and drifting.
